Taylor Swift, to the delight of Swifties everywhere, has officially unleashed her “From The Vault” track, “You’re Losing Me,” on various streaming platforms.

The pop sensation made this surprise release announcement Wednesday morning, coinciding with her celebration of being crowned Spotify’s Global Top Artist of the year. Expressing her disbelief and gratitude on X (formerly Twitter), Swift thanked her global audience for the recognition, considering it the ultimate birthday and holiday gift. She also acknowledged the thrilling tour experiences shared with her fans.

Reflecting on ways to show appreciation, Swift responded to fan requests to make “You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)” available on streaming platforms. She revealed her decision, stating that fans could finally listen to it worldwide.

Previously, Swift had unveiled the song in May as a digital release through her web store, following its appearance on an exclusive CD edition distributed to fans during her Eras Tour in East Rutherford, N.J. The track captivated fans with its revealing lyrics, widely interpreted as referencing her recent breakup with longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Lyrics like “I wouldn’t marry me either / A pathological people pleaser / Who only wanted you to see her,” and “Do I throw out everything we built or keep it? / I’m getting tired even for a phoenix / Always rising from the ashes / Mending all her gashes / You might just have dealt the final blow” sparked intense reactions among listeners.
