Natalie Portman\u00a0<\/strong>and Benjamin Millepied <\/strong>split after 11 years of marriage, according to various reports that came out over the summer. However, the duo, who share\u00a0two children, son\u00a0Aleph<\/strong>, 12, and daughter Amalia<\/strong>, 6, still have not publicly confirmed the status of their relationship. Hollywood Life<\/em> has reached out to Natalie\u2019s reps, but we haven\u2019t heard back.<\/p>\n The Oscar-winning actress, 42, and the French director, 46, reportedly broke up earlier this year after Benjamin allegedly had an extramarital affair. Since then, Natalie and Benjamin have been seen together in public just once, when their son sat in between them at the Women\u2019s World Cup in August.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything we know about Natalie and Benjamin\u2019s alleged split.<\/p>\n The French outlet, Voici<\/em>, was the first to report on Benjamin\u2019s alleged extramarital affair on June 2. An insider told Page Six <\/em>that the choreographer allegedly cheated with 25-year-old climate activist Camille \u00c9tienne<\/strong>. \u201c[Benajmin and Natalie] have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him,\u201d the source shared at the time. \u201cHe loves her and their family.\u201d<\/p>\n Shortly after the news spread, a source told PEOPLE <\/em>that the affair was \u201cshort-lived\u201d and that Benjamin and Natalie \u201cremain\u201d together. \u201cHe knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,\u201d the insider said in the June 2 report. \u201cNatalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n Throughout the summer, Natalie and Benjamin mostly spent time apart from each other as they seemingly dealt with marital issues. On June 7, Natalie enjoyed\u00a0an outing without her spouse at the French Open, where she was all smiles. The following day, Benjamin went by himself to the Pathe theater in Paris for a screening of his directorial debut film, Carmen<\/em>. And two days after that, Natalie was\u00a0seen wiping away tears on a bench while at a park with Benjamin and their kids.<\/p>\n On August 7, news broke that Natalie and Benjamin split in the aftermath of his alleged affair. \u201cAfter news of his affair came out, they\u2019ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs,\u201d an insider told Us Weekly.\u00a0<\/em>Later that month, Natalie and Benjamin reunited at the Women\u2019s World Cup where their son sat in between them. Benjamin and Aleph reportedly left the game a little early without the\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0<\/em>actress.<\/p>\n Most recently, Natalie ditched her wedding ring when she attended the premiere of her new movie, May December<\/em>, on November 16.
